Hi, I’m Jaylee Awakened and my heart beats for one thing—helping people heal, awaken, and step into the fullness of who God created them to be. As a licensed marriage and family therapist and the founder of Jaylee Awakened Ministries—“The Home of Prophetic Therapy”, I have the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate the complexities of life, faith, and emotional well-being.
I believe that mental health and spirituality are deeply connected. You were never meant to battle anxiety, grief, or the weight of the past alone. True healing happens when you invite the Holy Spirit into the process and allow biblical wisdom to restore, renew, and realign your life.
My Journey in Mental Health & Ministry
My path to Prophetic Therapy began at Asbury Theological Seminary, where I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling in 2018. Since then, I’ve gained full licensure as a marriage and family therapist in two states and expanded my expertise in:
✅ Aging & Spirituality (Certified through Asbury Theological Seminary)
✅ Relationship Enhancement Therapy (Helping couples build stronger, Christ-centered connections)
✅ Prepare & Enrich Certified Facilitator (Equipping couples with tools for thriving relationships)
My approach is both professional and Spirit-led—blending evidence-based therapy with the prophetic insight and power of the Holy Spirit. Through our sessions, we don’t just manage emotions—we break cycles, heal wounds, and awaken people to purpose.
Why Prophetic Therapy?
God has given each of us a unique calling, but unresolved trauma, generational cycles, and emotional strongholds can hold us back from fully stepping into it. That’s where Prophetic Therapy comes in. It’s more than talk therapy—it’s a Spirit-led, biblically grounded approach to healing that helps people move from coping to breakthrough.
Seeing the incredible transformations happening through Prophetic Therapy, I knew this work needed to expand beyond myself. That’s why Jaylee Awakened Ministries has grown to include trained Prophetic Therapy Coaches, each equipped to provide faith-driven, therapeutic support. Together, we are helping more people heal, grow, and live fully awakened in Christ.
Beyond the Therapy Room
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me worshiping God with everything in me. I’m currently developing Songs of Deliverance, a project that blends prophetic worship, healing, and renewal—music that doesn’t just sound good but brings transformation to the soul. I believe music is one of the most powerful ways heaven touches earth, and I’m honored to be a vessel for that sound.
Of all the roles I carry, my favorite is being a wife to my incredible husband, Terry Cunningham, and a mother to our four beautiful children. Terry and I share the same mission—helping others step into healing, clarity, and freedom—and I’m so grateful we get to walk this journey together.
