Who are you?
Mariah is a devoted woman of faith whose strength and resilience have guided her through challenges such as divorce, miscarriage, depression, and low self-esteem. As a loving wife, caregiver for the elderly and individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and now a newly expecting mother, she exemplifies compassion and dedication. Mariah is also a trusted friend who supports and uplifts those around her. As I reflect, my faith has been my anchor, guiding me through life's storms and helping me to embrace my purpose of serving others with love and grace. Known for her love of people, Mariah encourages young women to discover their identity in Christ, fostering resilience and healing in the face of adversity. Through her experience and dedication, Mariah strives to see lives transformed, offering hope and encouragement to those who need it most.
What do you do outside of JAM, LLC?
Mariah is deeply committed to her family, including her loving husband, and she provides dedicated care for two individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. She finds joy in fellowship with other believers and serving alongside her husband. Passionate about travel, Mariah seeks relaxation and tranquility on beach getaways. Additionally, she is devoted to mentoring and encouraging young girls who face challenges similar to those she has overcome with the support of her faith. Mariah is passionate about reminding these young women of their identity as Daughters of God, guiding them to find their true selves through their
spiritual journey.
What do you bring to JAM, LLC?
Mariah earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Simmons College of Kentucky, laying the foundation for her impactful work in helping others navigate life’s challenges. Currently enrolled at the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Mariah is pursuing her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has a profound passion for helping women heal from heartbreak—whether through grief, broken relationships, divorce, low self-esteem, abandonment, substance abuse, or addiction. Her mission is to guide women in overcoming emotional wounds and reclaiming their strength. Mariah has over a decade of experience working with Senior citizens receiving in-home care or in assisted living facilities, dealing with health challenges, and individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. She has also served as a counselor for those with dual diagnoses in mental health. For five years, she worked in Case Management in Family Support Services, assisting families in accessing resources and addressing complex social and emotional needs.
