How to Use Your Oil
Anointing oil is not a formula, a charm, or a substitute for prayer. It is a tangible reminder of consecration, surrender, and faith in the Lord.
Throughout Scripture, oil was used in moments of setting apart, healing, prayer, and worship. James 5:14 speaks of anointing with oil in prayer, and Psalm 23:5 reminds us, “You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”
You can use your oil during personal prayer, worship, consecration, or while praying over your home and family.
A Simple Way to Use It
Place a small amount of oil on your fingertip, hand, forehead, wrist, or another appropriate place as you pray.
You may also use it while praying over a doorway, room, Bible, journal, or space in your home.
As you use the oil, pause and turn your heart toward the Lord. Let it become a physical reminder that your life, home, family, work, and future belong to Him.
Simple Prayer
Lord, I consecrate my life to you.
I surrender my heart, my home, and my life to Your complete will.
Let this oil remind me that I belong to You, that You are present with me, and that my life is set apart for Your purposes.
